encoder reset for NI 7358 card

I am using 7358 eight axes motion control card. I am trying to read incremental /quadrature encoder reading. I am using a motor built with quadrature encoder giving 4000 pulses per revolution. I am able to read the encoder but in my program I need to reset the Encoder reading , I want a VI which can reset the encoder reading.
