Hi Everyone,
I am trying to understand how to wire my proportional ball valve to the PSU and DAQ devices.
----------------------------------------------------------
I am using the following:
1. Proportional valve, which have 5 wires (see attached picture for the diagram). According to the manual:
RD connect DC9-24V positive
BK connect DC9 ~ 24V (4-20mA-/0-5V-/0-10V) negative
GR connect position input /control current +/ control voltage +(4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V)
YW connect LED light (between 9-24V), when there is error, the light will be ON.
WT connect position feedback, OC output PWM signal ◎ PWM frequency:0-100Hz, duty: 5-95%
2. NI9263 (analog signal output) and NI9201 (analog signal input), they both are connected to the chassis.
3. 24V power supply.
---------------------------------------------------------
I am especially confused about the black wire (- terminal). It make sense to me that will be connected to the power supply but does that black wire also need to be connected to the "COM" on the analog output (so the output device knows what the output voltage is referenced to)?
I have attached a picture my wiring diagram which also contains the wire IDs for the valve. Could anyone provide some insight on whether this is correct?
Thanks!
