Hello all,
I work with a DC motor from Maxon and I have a question about it. For measurements I always used to drive e.g. 100 motor positions and then switched off the motor, measured and drove to the next point. Now I want to do this continuously, i.e. start the motor and compare the current motor position with a setpoint (steps) via Labview (version 7) in a loop. If this matches, the current motor position is saved in a text file with the measured value. Here I drive over a very large range with low speed. What I noticed when plotting the deviation is that every 30k motor positions a jump occurs from some motor positions (always in the same direction). It seems to me that the communication between EPOS and the computer pauses for a short time. After that everything works again until the next 30k positions are passed. Does anybody here know what the reason for this is or which parameter can cause this?
